The highest I've gone is Rank 18, and I haven't done that since. But there is a catch: Burning Red Tiles! If you let the tiles drop all the way to the bottom of the screen, your "Bookworm" dies, and the game is over. The bigger the word you spell, the more points you are awarded. The amount of points increases with each coming level. The game has a very well-written and well-planned ratings system, with the user going up "ranks" every time he or she scores a certain amount of points.
